Today is Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year. But before you head out the door, a gentle reminder.
The season isn't all about the gifts. The excess of today is not worth the stress of figuring out how to pay the piper later. What is under the tree does not measure how much you love someone or the gift recipient's love for you.
That being said, I know the deals are hard to resist! On both today and Cyber Monday, the temptation is certainly real and tangible. Will I fall? Probably!! But in this economy I will be a much harder sell. Retailers will have to work and work hard to get my money this year.
So go forth and shop!! Just remember what January will feel like when the bills start to arrive!
