Hot Hot Hot!!!

Red Hot Onions


3 large purple onions
2 or 3 Tbsp hot sauce
3 Tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp red wine vinegar


Cut onions into thin slices.  Pour 1 cup boiling water over the onions.  Let set for one minute, then drain.  Combine hot sauce, olive oil, and vinegar.  Pour over onion rings in bowl with lid.  Cover, chill, and let set for at least 3 hours.  Drain before serving.
