1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
3 cloves, garlic, pressed
1/4 cup lemon juice
Hot sauce to taste (I like a bit more than most!)
2 pounds raw shrimp, peeled
1. Melt butter, saute garlic, and add lemon juice and a few (lot) dashes of hot sauce.
2. Arrange shrimp in single layer in shallow pan, pour butter mixture over shrimp and salt lightly.
3. Broil two minutes, turn shrimp, and broil two more minutes.
4. Reserve garlic butter and serve separately.
(This recipe calls for real butter...NO SUBSTITUTIONS!!!)
