A Sweet to End the Week

Apricot Bars


1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
6 Tbsp (3/4 stick) butter
3/4 cup apricot preserves


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and butter.  Mix well.  Place half of the mixture in a 9 inch square pan.  Spread apricot preserves over the mixture and sprinkle with the remaining mixture.  Bake for 30 minutes.  Cut into squares.
